Nature lovers

The Jura Wine Trail owes everything to nature. Its generosity is such that there is no need to be a wine enthusiast to appreciate these delicate treasures.

The least one can say is that the Jura wine region is not flat! All you have to do is take a look around to see that.

First comes the plain, then the majestic wine slopes which follow the contours of the plateau. A little further away are the blind valleys, large expanses of wooded rock that can reach 200 metres high.
The spectacle can be equally appreciated from the height of a belvedere or from the depths of a cavern. These underground cathedrals poetically translate the exceptional geology of the region.

But, we cannot talk about the Wine Trail without mentioning... water. Water which, after having sculpted the entrails of the earth, shoots out in magnificent waterfalls that cascade over rocks. Water, with its beneficial virtues, has given birth to two spa towns. Water, which gives the flora and fauna such diversity, that it is jealously protected.
