Food lovers

Although small in size,

the Jura wine region is big in personality due to it’s wines...

and all those dishes that they accompany.

Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir, are the five grape varieties that grow in this thousand year old wine region, and the winemakers have always known how to give rise to a palette of wines soaked in character!
Côtes du Jura, L’Etoile, Arbois and Château-Chalon are the four Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée that signify the international renown of the Jura wines.

Gourmets should not miss tasting them with the many regional dishes for an unforgettable marriage of flavours. Bresse Chicken with vin jaune, morels on toast, trout with crayfish...... the dishes come one after the other and they are never the same! They are available to try at any of the numerous restaurants that are partners of the Trail

And to discover all the gastronomic products that go so well with Jura wines, a trip on the Comté Trail or on the Flavours of the Golden Triangle Circuit, will give you plenty of ideas for things to cook!
